In the evening of my youth

Under the waning crest of the moon

I am blessed with the knowledge

Of friends

In the twilight of my years

I have learnt to let go

Of my fears and my tears

Of knowledge

and

what holds me back

In the sunset of my dreams

I have learnt more that I can use

Of love lost

Of love unspoken

Of love by my side

In the dawn of my life now

I have learnt more that I could ever know

Of who I am

And

why the train doesn't stop here anymore

In the footsteps of my destiny

I no longer rebel against my fate

But yet setting my own path

and

My own destiny

In the evenings of my life.
