Dear Friends & As Salam To All,

 

Since our 'Get Together', 'Sukaneka at our Alma Mater school field' and the 'Pelancaran of KOSEC' at Dewan Hamdan in July last year, we have yet to gather again in a big scale like we had on that particular occasion. Although there's series of meetings, raya gatherings and makan sessions amongst us but that were only a handful of us that attended.

 

Without us realizing it, we are into the 3^rd year in rekindling this friendship and just past our 1^st year anniversary on the formation of KOSEC. As you all are aware, KOSEC was established primarily to strengthen and develop this friendship of ours and at the same time a platform to seek and create business returns for its members i.e. us all.

 

Slowly but surely, things had begun to show some good outcomes. 3 years down the road, we may be able to crop our first JV project with PKPNP, the kelapa sawit at the 50 acres of land at Mukim Kampar which had started its planting end December 2011. KOSEC is still looking for an appropriate piece of land to lease to commence the penanaman benih pokok getah, which in principle MTIB had agreed to provide professional  assistance and grant. Once commence, its 1^st crop shall be after 9 months of seeding.

 

Other fast track business venture yet to reflect big and positive turnover and returns, as time and efforts of the few members and friends working on this is still an essence due to current work and business commitments.

 

In concurrent, as I'm writing, members had numbered to 58 with 40 had fully subscribed with the minimum of RM500.00. To those whom had yet to subscribe fully or friends that have yet to become a member, I again urge you to fulfill this small obligation and sign up to reflect your trust and show your support to this noble effort made by this group of friends.

 

With this in mind, I call upon all of you turn up in force come 11^th April 2012, 10.30am onwards at the Rest House in Kuala Kangsar as at this location, KOSEC will be conducting its first AGM to present and share our business and financial affairs, re elect New Ahli Lembaga Koperasi and at the same time another good avenue for us to gather and meet again.
